Clare overview

Ireland’s County Clare is one of the most frequented of the Irish counties by tourists as it is home to the lofty Cliffs of Moher and other natural delights. Shannon Airport provides access and is also one of the main towns in this friendly part of the Shannon region, while Ennis, the main centre, is good for a visit for the cliffs. It also has more lively watering holes flowing with Guinness and Kilkenny than you could poke a stick at. Potholers and rock climbers will also enjoy Clare as it is awash with limestone cliffs and caves at the Burren. There’s also a bunch of charming villages overlooking Galway Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
